SAM DINGMAN is the creator and host of Family Ghosts, which has received over ten million downloads, and been hailed as a critic’s choice by NPR, the LA Times, and The New York Times. Sam also co-hosted, co-wrote, produced, mixed, and edited the BlueWire original series The Rumor, which was featured in The Washington Post and New York Magazine, and was a Webby honoree for Best Podcast Writing. He served as story editor for Shalom, Amoré, which won Best Nonfiction Audio Storytelling at the 2023 Tribeca Festival. Sam was also the writer and showrunner for John Stamos’s Webby-winning podcast The Grand Scheme: Snatching Sinatra, editor of Karina Longworth’s You Must Remember This, and producer for WNYC’s Peabody-winning On the Media. He is a winner of the Moth Grand Slam, and his stories have been featured on RISK!, The Moth Radio Hour, the CBC, WBEZ, and WNYC.
